Meet Linda!
Linda is passionate about helping others, especially young people in small towns and rural communities. A proud small-town girl from Ville Platte, Louisiana, she has always carried a heart for rural communities, even as her journey gave her opportunities to travel across the United States and experience many different cultures and lifestyles. Through each assignment and location, Linda adapted, learned, and grew, while remaining deeply committed to uplifting the communities that shaped her.
Linda earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Hospitality Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. While attending the university, she also completed the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program. As a lifelong learner, she continued her educational journey by earning a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix, as well as an Educational Specialist degree from the Doctoral College at Grand Canyon University.
As a Certified Corporate Trainer, Linda has written training manuals for several organizations and developed a strong foundation in teaching, coaching, and leadership development. Today, she serves as a Motivational Business Coach and a Motivational Coach for young people in small towns and rural communities. Her work focuses on giving young people opportunities to explore various industries, discover new possibilities, and recognize their own greatness.
Linda believes in paying it forward and is always looking for new and exciting opportunities to help others fulfill their dreams and visions. Through motivational encouragement, practical support, and a genuine passion for service, she remains committed to helping young people and communities grow with purpose, confidence, and hope.
Meet Coach Jessica!
Jessica Capseta is an inspiring sixth-year teacher in the Evangeline Parish School District. She earned her master’s degree in education from the University of Montpellier in the South of France. Guided by her diverse background and passion for learning, Jessica chose education as a way to help shape the next generation for a multicultural and globally connected society.
In August 2020, Jessica came to Louisiana through the CODOFIL exchange program, accompanied by her husband and two children. Before entering the classroom in Louisiana, her journey led her to several parts of the world. She worked in Spain with the World Tourism Organization in the Sustainable Tourism Department and coordinated the ST-EP project in Cameroon, Africa, where her work focused on sustainable tourism and poverty elimination.
Jessica brings a wealth of global experience, cultural awareness, and educational commitment to her work with young people. Her passion for building students into confident learners and future leaders shines through in the classroom and beyond. She serves as one of the primary coaches in the SOCKAC program, helping young people grow, explore new possibilities, and prepare to navigate a diverse world with purpose and confidence.

Meet Coach Dafnee
Dafnee Chatman is a thespian and passionate advocate for the promotion of the arts. She is affectionately known as “Mommy” to four incredible children: Whitnee, Rowen, and twins Trinitee and Legaciee. A 2006 graduate of Ville Platte High School, Dafnee went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance and Mass Communications from Grambling State University.
While at Grambling State University, Dafnee discovered her love for theater through performances in the Floyd L. Sandle Theatre productions of The Wiz, God’s Trombones, and her favorite, Dreamgirls. She takes pride in her many talents, which include singing in four languages, writing music, and performing dramatic prose.
Driven by a desire to continue learning and serving others, Dafnee earned a Master of Business Administration from Colorado Technical University. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Phi Beta Lambda Business Fraternity, Inc., and Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority, Inc., where she serves on the 36th National Board of Directors as National Program Director. In addition to being a devoted mother, one of Dafnee’s greatest joys is serving her church family at St. James Baptist Church as a Praise and Worship Leader and Elder.
