Adventurers Does It Big!!!!

May 18, 2025 was one EPIC night as our adventurers and our bonus adventurers showcased their talents and gifts in the performance of Sing Like an Angel by Karen Matthews! The stage was filled with excitement, laughter, joy, seriousness, rebellion, sadness, repentance, happiness and more as the cast and dancers put forward the best versions of themselves!

My deepest gratitude to the village who were " all hands on deck" and made this a "night to remember"---Dafnee Chatman, casting director, (Joyful Noise Production, LLC) and Jessica Capseta, associate casting director, ( French Immersion Teacher at VPE) for leading the cast and dancers to an electrfying peformance! Thanks to Cynthia Williams for recruiting members from Greek organizations---Zeta Phi Beta Sorority-Sigma Upsilon Zeta; Delta Sigma Theta; Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc; Phi Beta Sigma--Iota XI Sigma, Alumni Chapter; Sandy Rich, members of Freedom Family Church, Ronnie Fontenot of Antioch Baptist Church, Trina Orgeron (Chamber of Commerce Director) and her team, Orlandar Jack and Matt Hebert who always come to my rescue, Deidri Cotton, Dancing With A Purpose, LLC, our sound guys-- Alton Celestine and Jonathan Lemon, Alyus Dick who came back to pay it forward (he was the first adventurer to join SOCKAC), Dena Smith, who always gracefully and with a positive attitude lead the culture of our performances, Karen Matthews, Playwriter AND "my go-to village" my spiritual leaders--Pastors Steven and Sarahi Sawtelle ---Pastors Reginald and Alisha Arvie.
