Day Two of Our Beginner's Class

Howdy!

Monday, June 24th was day two of our beginner's culinary class! We took a field trip to Walmart to play grocery store BINGO, an activity from the My Plate program. The young adventurers had a blast! The goal was to find foods from the five food groups, tell the price, and how it was sold (each or by the pound). The adventurers did an amazing job and even learned to read a scale! They had opportunities to speak with store clerks and a few customers.
