Kid Wind Kickoff

Youth Supervisors kicked off our summer adventures with our Kid Wind program! Our young adventurers learned about wind power in this session. Discussions surrounding wind turbines, LED, blades, drag, force, fiction, motion, and generators were the focus words in this lesson.

Our young adventurers were guided by the youth supervisors as they built the first project of our Kid Wind program--The Firefly Wind Turbine!

Thanks to youth supervisor Lauren White and her youth colleagues (Lex Guillory, Mozie Sanchez, and Alton Guillory) for an excellent presentation and well taught class!

A very special thank you to Mrs. Nicole Day for assisting us with coaching on this project! Thanks to Pastors Steven and Sarahi Sawtelle for allowing to use the patio at Hundredfold Coffee House.
