Our First Field Trip to a College Basketball Game!!!!

WHOOP! WHOOP! January 25th---what an incredibly electrifying experience!

The teamwork and support from Mr. Charles Tate along with Pastors Steven and Sarahi Sawtelle provided an amazing field trip for our adventurers-- ULL basketball game!!!!! We are so deeply grateful for them and to them. Mr. Charles went 10 extra miles as he worked hard on getting tickets to the game and meal vouchers to dine before we attended the game. Pastors Steven and Sarahi were the cheerleaders in this endeavor to plan and provide our adventurers with this awesome opportunity!

We are grateful to Todd Graves, Owner and CEO of Raising Cane's and one of Ville Platte's very own--Ben LaTour, Senior Vice President, Training & Development at Raising Cane's for working with Mr. Charles to provide a meal of their yummy, yummy chicken fingers dinner!!!

 We are grateful to Dr. J. Savoie, President of University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Dr. Kristi Anderson, Chief Strategy Officer, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and Brandon Domingue, Associate Director of Athletics for Sales and Services, University of Louisiana at Lafayette for providing tickets to the game.

 The adventurers were blessed with a snapshot on the big screen!! We had a blast and this will be a cherished and lasting memory!!

Again, we cannot say "Thank you" enough times to everyone who made this field trip possible!
